Can my emoloyeer violate the employee handbook?

My employee handbook states that all employees must use the timeclock, no exceptions. However, my employer made me use the timeclock but not other staff. They had everyone use the timeclock for a month but it cost too much for the company.

Employee handbooks *sometimes* create enforceable contracts. However, usually they do not. If the employee handbook contains any language similar to--

"All employment is employment at will"

"Nothing in this handbook creates a contract of employment"

"All policies are subject to change at will"

--then the employee handbook's terms are not enforceable; they may be a useful summary of the employer's then-current polices, but are not binding.
