No, you cannot sue your company, based on what you write. You may not like how they handled it, but they did in fact respond aggressively: they fired the perpetrator within one day of when you reported the issue. In doing that, they discharged their responsibility to investigate the matter once it is brought to their attention and, if they believe your complaint credible, take action. The clearly investigated and did take the most aggressive or powerful action (termination) available to them. That is all they have to do: your employer has no obligation to help you get over the event--your employer is your employer, nothing more and nothing less, and is not your legal guardian or therapist/counselor; they have no obligations in regard to your emotional or mental state.
