Can I sue home inspector

When I bought my house a little over 1 year ago, I had a home inspection done, he looked under the kitchen sink but missed the mold problem, it has caused my home insurance to drop me, and now the only company that will insure me has doubled my payments. Can I pursue legal action for him missing the mold issue that the insuramce company stated had been there for an extended period of time?

You can sue the home inspector for negligence.  Negligence is the failure to exercise due care (that degree of care that a reasonable home inspector would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances to prevent foreseeable harm).
Your damages (monetary compensation you are seeking in your lawsuit) would be the cost of mold removal.
