Can I request more than one copy of a pay stub?
I misplaced several of my pay stubs from my
previous employer. I reached out to the DOL
because my supervisor would not provide an
extra copy and said to not contact them again.
The DOL was able to only get my last pay stub
and said they were in compliance with the law
with my lost stubs.

Actually, your former employer need not accomodate your request for a replacement paystub. The fact is that their legal obligation under the law was met by providing the initial paystub. It is not their problem that you lost that paystub.

You can ask, but they do not have to accommodate you: they fulfilled their obligations by providing the pay stubs in the first place, and are not responsible for the fact that you lost or misplaced your copies of the stubs. Having fulfilled their obligation, they do not need to provide a replacement copy.
