CanI reopen my case afterI have settled?
I was severely injured on my job and the company. After 4 years the company offered $40,000 which I felt like I had no choice but to take due to me being out of work so long. Even after major surgery I will live the rest of my life in pain. This injury has hindered me from living a normal life, including entering the military. I wanted to reopen my case because I will have to live with this the rest of my life and might have to consider disability. What should I do?

Once the case is settled, it cannot be reopened. When you settled the case, you signed a release which released the other party from liability in order for you to receive your settlement. By signing the release, you have given up your claim against the other party. You cannot sue again on the same claim.
