Under the laws of all states in this country if your real estate agent knew before your purchased the home you did that there had been a major fire at it and did not disclose this material fact to you beforehand, you may have a basis to bring an action for negligence and/or concealment assuming you are not time barred by your state's statute of limitations on this issue.
As such, I suggest that you consult with a real estate attorney on this subject to ascertain what your legal recourse is if any.
