Can I make a motion to the courts to revise my trustee payments to make it more affordable?

I recently lost my job, my wife and I are half way through our chapter 13, but we will struggle to make the trustee payments soon when we take on her student loans that mature in 4 months. Can the courts help us by lowering the trustee payments?

You may well be able to do that depending on other factors in your situation. Definitely discuss this with your bankruptcy attorney.
