Can I legally create a website with just a sole proprietorship?

I own a lawn care business and have just a sole proprietorship. Not to far from me is another lawn care business with a LLC. Can I legally create a website and do everything I need to grow the business without legal ramifications coming from the LLC?

Yes: a sole proprietorship is legally recognized and valid form of business, so it can do everything that a limited liability company (LLC) or corporation (inc.) can do, including having a website, entering into contracts, taking out loans or financing, etc.
