While it is possible to file for both divorce and bankruptcy at the same time, it may create unnecessary delays and complications. Therefore, it is best to wait until one case is concluded before filing for the other.Which you should file first depends on your particular circumstances.

You can always file for divorce. The divorce should no effect on the on the bankruotcy.
