Can I change an employees schedule from working mornings to nights?

I would like to switch one of my employee’s schedules from working mornings to nights. I don’t want to terminate her but I don’t have a need for her to work mornings any longer.

Would this scheduled change violate the terms of a union agreement or employment contract, if any? Could itfor some reason be construed as some form of legal discrimination? If no to both of these questions, then as an at-will employer you can set the condions of the workplace much as you see fit or deem necessary. This includes changing an employee's schedule as needed.
