Not unless you agreed to it. If you worked the hours as part of your normal job and not as part of "trial period," "unpaid internship," etc., then whether it ws the first week, last week, or any week in the middle, they need to pay you. You should just check both any paperwork and correspondence you may have, as well as your memory, to see if you did in fact agree to give them free time. If not, they need to pay you.
