Can a realtor make changes to a purchase and sales agreement?
My father is selling his house. He has told me the lawyer has made minor changes to the purchase and sales agreement. Is this OK or should the realtor be doing this? Thanks in advance

This is definitely the lawyer's job, not the realtor's. I'm not a Massachusetts lawyer, and real estate law and procedure do differ a bit from one state to another, but contract language requires very close attention to detail and the legal meaning of different wordings. A good realtor will have seen enough contracts to be able to recognize many of these things, but a good lawyer will be up to date on recent court decisions that may have changed the landscape.
