Can a minor be fingerprinted, have their mug shot taken, and be questioned without a parent present?

For riding a dirt bike on the street; questioning was a whole other case.

It is my understanding that a minor in the State of Pennsylvania is protected by the same rights as are guaranteed under the Constitution of the United States and are commonly known as "Miranda Rights": right to an attorney and the right to remain silent.  You as their parent have the right to be contacted IMMEDIATELY under the procedural law in the state of PA if your child is detained.  Once all this is done then the police can indeed question the kid.  But here they were not just questioned they were arrested.  And if that is the case an attorney should have also been assigned.  So get one yourself, and a good one who will know just how to handle this matter.  Good luck.
