Can a employer be fined by Ohsa
I was employed with a company
who failed to manage their
medical waste and tried to
force me to sit in a room with
months of it.
When I refused to comply a
manger threw a biowaste
container at me.
If I can prove all of this can
my employer be liable to pay
fines for it

Improper disposal of medical waste constitutes a health and safety hazard as is your employer wanting you to stay in the room with the waste. OSHA will investigate your complaint and should take appropriate action against your employer such as a fine.
