Can a boss take a stool from me ii I have a disability?

I had double knee surgery. My boss got evaluated and said that we’re not making enough. So until sales are up, he’s taking away the stools that my partner and I use.

You may well have protection in this situation. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), is a law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities. In an employment setting this means that an employer must make reasonable accomodations regarding a worker with a documented disability. That having been said, an employer is not required to make such an accommodation if it would impose an "undue hardship" on the operation of the employer's business. However, in your case, an accomodation has already been made (i.e. providing you with a stool), so your request is not unreasonable. At this point, you should consult directly with an employment law attorney and or contact your state's department of labor.
