I have been employed for 20 years I have been a supervisor at this company.Recently I have been used to do different jobs such as clean up.and any other jobs that employees have refused to do.I refused and was sent home for 3 days without pay.I have never been written up for any reason or verbally warned for anything in those 20 years my attendance is excellent.This company has changed ownership.is there anything I can do

Unless this action constitutes some form of legally actionable discrimination (i.e. is based on your age (over 40) , disability, race, religion, etc.) or it violates the terms of a union agreement or employment contract, you have no claim here. The fact is that in an "at will" work relationship, a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit. This incudes when and why to terminate an employee. In fact, a company can fire someone for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.
