Do you have a union agreement or employment contract that gurantees the amount of hours that you are to be scheduled to work? Is you treatment based on any form of legally actionable discrimination (i.e. due to your race, religion, age (over 40), disability, etc.)? If not, then you are an "at will" worker. This means that your boss can set the conditions of your employment much as it sees fit. This includes whether or not to put you on the schedule.
