Do all traffic tickets result in increased insurance premiums?

I know that if you are driving and incur a moving violation that the ticket will put points against your license and make your insurance go up. I was wondering if the same can be said for a ticket regarding expired tags?

No, not all traffic tickets will increase your insurance premiums.  Generally speaking, if you are convicted of a moving violation it will increase your insurance premium as the conviction is an indication of the way you operate a vehicle. i.e., against the law. Also generally speaking, each state's DMV uses a point system to determine things like fines or suspension and the points you incur can effect your premium.  Sometimes "small" offenses like rolling through a stop sign might not increase your rate.  It has to be substantial. Look up your DMV system online.  Expired tags do not indicate you are a poor driver. Some states have a grace period.  Good luck.
