As a general rule, if the trust is "irrevocable" (i.e. one that can't be changed) then beneficiaries have a right to a copy of it. On the other hand, if the Trust is "revocable" (i.e. can be changed), typically the beneficiaries have no right to receive a copy of the Trust.
Note: A revocable Trust will become irrevocable when the trustor passes away, so the beneficaries are legally entitled to a copy.
However, since all of this is state specific, you should consult directly with a local trusts and estates attorney. They can best advise you further.
