Are you granted the right to make a phone call when arrested?
Are there certain charges that prevent you from being able to make a phone call. That’s what I was told by a police officer and I’m trying to see if that’s accurate. If this is correct, what are the charges that prevent you from being able to get a bond and phone call?

The number of phone calls you can make varies from unlimited to zero, depending on the stae in which you are arrested and then upon the severity of your crime and posibly even how you act when arrested.
