No, the company has NO obligation to pay for an employee's ambulence unless the company caused the injury or illness through negligence (carelessness) (like not following safety rules) or an intentional bad act. Otherwise, if the company was not at fault for causing the injury, they are not liable for this cost, any more than you would be liable for a friend's amubulence ride if he happened to have a heart attack while visiting your home.
