An hourly employee must be paid for *all* hours worked, even if the work is 1) a meeting (or anything else which is not the employee's normal duties) and/or 2) is after the employee's normal shift or after business hours. A mandatory meeting is work; therefore, you should be paid for it, even if the meeting occurs after hours. You should be paid at your regular rate; and if as a result of the meeting you work more than 40 hours in a week, you would be eligible for overtime.
