Am I responsible for damage to my neighbor’s driveway caused by my delivery truck?

I had concrete delivered to my house. The job site was in the backyard and it was easiest for the truck to pull between our houses. Prior to doing it, the driver got out, inspected the area and said he could do it safely, with the exception of leaving ruts in my front yard. He ended up driving over part of my neighbor’s driveway and he cracked the asphalt edge. Who’s responsible?

If the delivery truck caused damage to the neighbor's property in delivering items to your property, then the company that owns the delivery truck is responsible for the damage caused by it. If you own the truck that caused the damage then you would be responsible for the repairs.

However, if you were merely the customer getting items delivered, then you would have no legal obligation to your neighbor for the repair of the broken asphalt.
