Am I required to leave anything to my adult children when I die in Oregon?

My children have had nothing to do with me and I dont want to leave them anything
from my estate. I live in Oregon and dont know what the laws are. I want to leave
my property and possessions to another person whom Im not related.

No you are not required to leave your adult children anything in your Will. The fact so that a parent can disinherit their children. That having been said, each state requires certain language in the Will to cover such a circumstance. At this point, you should consult directly with an attorney as to the specific law in your jurisdiction.
