Did your in-laws have a Will? If so, then its terms will prevail. Therefore, depending on how its written, you may or may not be entitled to your deceased husband's inheritance. If they had no Will, then they died "intestate". This means that as your husband's share of his parent's assets will go to his next of kin, that means his heirs. Since you are not a blood relation, then unless you had children together, your husband's inheritance will go to his brother.
