I requested an itemized listing of expenses from the attorney acting as P. and was told I had to pay a CPA $500 to get it. Aren’t I entitled to this information?

You are entitled to this informations, but if want anything formal the attorney will charge for preparation. However, if you are close with the executor/rix perhaps you could have her give you a list of the expenditures at no cost. The real problem here is that the best estate administration policy is total transparency and openness. This approach fosters trust and confidence that all matters are being handled openly and honestly. For whatever reason, this does not seem to be happening here.
