Can a 16 year old have a sexual relationship of any with someone 19 or older?

Do close in age exceptions apply to people who are 16 or above or just below?

In AL, the "age of consent" is 16 years old. That  means once a person reached 16, they are considered to be of legal age to give their consent to having sexual relations. Bottom line, you can have sex with anyoe of any age.
