No, your boyfriend should not be able to acquire any rights to your property if he pays the monthly mortgage for your property directly to the mortgage company. To be on the safeside that the mortgage is paid on a monthly basis, you might want to insist upon personally mailing the check.

I suggest that you and he enter into some written agreement that he claims no interest in your home in order to prevent problems down the road.
