After getting a ticket, what will the court send me in the mail?

I received a ticket, but I’m worried about what they will send in the mail, because the address on my driver’s license is my aunt’s house. I wouldn’t like it if my violation was clear for my family to see. Will it be an envelope?

You will receive a notice of the traffic violation in an envelope from the city.  The notice will list the fine and will include a deadline for payment.  The notice will also mention that the fine increases if not paid by the deadline.  The notice will also provide instructions on the procedure if you want to request a court appearance.  If you decide not to request a court appearance, you can pay the fine and end the matter.
