In most states you need to provide proof of auto insurance in order to get your suspended driver’s license reinstated. If you do not have a car, you can still provide the proof of insurance through a different type of policy called a “non owned auto” insurance policy. Many insurance companies offer this, however, the most likely is through a specialty insurance company that writes insurance for drivers with driving record issues.
