I have a homeowners plus policy and they keep refusing to pay what can I do I believe I will be homeless soon I was replacing grout in bathroom and a tile cam off and I had extensive mold damage to the wood and contractors came in amd told me my window were put in wrong and my house has been taking in water for years. I have a mold policy but they refuse to pay. They told me I was covered in an email and then came back and told me that they I wasn't. What can I do? I'm devastated

Homeowner insurance and mold coverage is very restrictive and difficult to settle. If you have a supplement for mold coverage it is limited in scope and amount of insurance available.
The homeowner policy has an exclusion for faulty construction, so if the windows were incorrectly installed, the homeowner policy will not pay for the damages, and that probably includes the mold coverage not being covered. The losses suffered were over a period of time, which is also excluded under the homeowner insurance policy. Losses are for a “sudden and accidental” loss, which this is not.
The adjuster may have not understood the cause of loss when they first said you were covered. As they investigated the claim and the cause of damage it probably became apparent that there was no coverage for the mold or any other damage to the home. Try to obtain bids from other contractors for the damage in hopes of finding a better estimate to repair the damages.
