how can i find out if my father left me in his life insurance policy my dad recently passed and his wife(my step mother)isnt telling me anything if i am entitled to anything.i no when me and my brother my dad work for gm and had insurance on us mow my step mom in pictures she not saying anything or if i was on the policy how can i find out.

This may be hard.  However, you can contact the employer yourself and advise them that you may be named as a beneficiary on a life policy but you are unsure.  They will search their data base for you.  If there is a life policy but you are not the beneficiary, do not expect them to give you any info.  They will only do so if you are the named beneficiary on the policy.
