If Iwas arrested for possession Schedule 1, drug paraphernalia, and pub intoxication, will I lose my license?

This is my first arrest in 6 years, I do have a felony marijuana from 10 years ago. What are the chances of getting it dropped? Should I speak with a criminal defense attorney? In Story County, IA.

Yes, I would speak with a criminal defense attorney as soon as you can. He or she would best know what your chanes for having the charge dropped would be, but I think that you should brace yourself here.  Although you are not still on probabtion from the offenses in the past, the court may or may not take them in to account in determining your situation.  With any luck your attorney can possibly negotiate a durg rehab program to help you with this problem.  As for your license, were you driving at the time?  I am not sure how your license plays in to this matter.  But get yourself help and Good luck.
