If you cannot reach the claims adjuster for your claim, and you have left messages on the phone and by email, you may try to reach their supervisor to see if they can help you or get the adjuster to return your calls.Unfortunately, sometimes adjusters are just overloaded with claims and they have a tendency to put off some claims due to complications or they just go by the date of the claim.If your claim involves a catastrophe claim – such as a tornado that hit a large area, then the adjuster may have been brought in from another area and then was sent back. When this happens the new adjuster could be backed up and trying to understand the claim. Make sure that your adjuster is still with the company and is still assigned to your claim. Call the 800 number rather than a direct number and ask the operator to confirm your adjuster. She should be able to do so with the claim number you were assigned.
