If a driver who has liability insurance runs into a house of another person who has homeowner’s insurance, does the drivers insurer still have to pay the homeowner?

The driver was at fault and therefore, the homeowner will file a claim with the driver's insurance company. The driver's auto insurance company will pay for the property damage (cost of repairs to the house).
If the case is not settled with the driver's insurance company, the homeowner will sue the driver for negligence.
