If there is a warrant issued in one state, can I be arrested in another?
For example, if I have a warrant due to a missed court date, will I be arrested if applying for ID in another state which is where I live?

If you are stopped by law enforcement in one state and it is discovered that you have an outstanding warrant in another you could be arrested on the spot. However, the mere desire to get a new identification with the department of motor vehicles in your new state of residence will not alert anyone to arrest you for the outstanding warrant that you have written about.
